Layered Stamping With Kitchen Sink Stamps

Hello friends! Welcome to another post! Today I have to share with you two A2 size cards that I created, using a multistep stamp set, by Kitchen Sink Stamps. Kitchen Sink Stamps stamp sets are very unique as they provide very realistic looking stamped results. I own a few Kitchen sink stamps since I like this company very much, and for today’s cards, I chose the “Teddy Bear Wishes” multi step stamp set!

To create the embossed panel for both cards, I used an embossing folder from Spellbinders along with an embossing diffuser to keep the center of these cards from getting embossed, so I could stamp in the center of these panels after.

To stamp the teddy bear in both cards, I used the Altenew “Coffee Break” mini ink cubes set. This ink set comes with four shades of brown and it is perfect for layered stamping. There are four stamps for creating this teddy and we have to start  stamping  from the lightest to the darkest color, so all of the details from the previously stamped image shows a little. When It comes to layered stamping, usually the first layer is the most solid image, therefore we must stamp it with the lightest color so all of the other layers that we have to stamp on top of it shows.

I also used three different sizes of die cut hearts to layer them and created some heart shaped balloons for this teddy bear to hold. To finish it off, I added a bow to his neck and I used black Nuvo drops on his eyes to make them pop. Of course I had to add some sparkle somehow, so I used my Spectrum Noir Glitter Brush Pen to add some shimmer to the balloons and the bow. I also added a flat back rhinestone in the center of the bow.
