Snow Globe Note Cards!

Hello crafters! Today I’m sharing easel card base ideas featuring some products from Spellbinders Simon’s Snow Globes Collection! This is a wonderful collection with wonderful products to create  snow globes with different scenes!

I began by scoring the front of a top folding A2 size note card in half. The bottom half of this panel will be the place to adhere any die cuts. Then, to add some interest to the front panel, after scoring it in half, I ran it through my di cut machine with the  “Playful Poinsettia” embossing folder. I ran it through my die cut machine with the note card folded closed so the back would also have some texture! Inside the note card I adhered  a white panel so I would have a nice smooth place to write a special message later.

To create these two different snow globes, I use the Spellbinders “Simon’s Snow Globe” and the “Nativity Scene” die sets. To create the die cut bowl in the nativity scene snow globe, I used metal plates included the Spellbinders “Christmas Wonder” die set.

To adhere each snow globe to the easel card bases I used the Bearly Art Glue, and I only applied liquid adhesive to the bottom half of the snow globes. To make sure that it would stand nicely on display I added two layers of cardstock strips  to the inside of the note cards. This will work as a stopper for when the note cards are open.

I hope you enjoyed this post and felt inspired! Thank you for visiting today  and happy crafting!
