Cool Jackets Note Cards

Hello crafters! Today I am sharing lots of card designs featuring Concord and 9th “Carpe Denim” stamp and die set. This is an outstanding set that will allow us to make fun and unique note cards for many different occasions!

- Use the Concord and 9th “Carpe Dening” stamp and die set to cut out the pieces to create the coolest jackets ever!
- Hot foil a sentiment to the front panel. Some panels were cut to 5 ½” x 4 ¼”, and others to 5 ¼” x 4” so there would be a white trim around it. I used hot foil plates included in the Spellbinders “Mini Everyday” hot foil set. For the Valentine’s Day’s note card I used an old set not available anymore. I used Spellbinders foil in the colors “Prism”, “Gold”, and “Black”.
- To add interest to the front panels use a piercing plate. I used the Concord and 9th “Stitched Hearts Card Front” die plate for the Valentine’s day note card, and the Simon Says Stamp “Detail Bohemian” for the other note cards.
- Use strong liquid adhesive to glue the pieces together and embellish each note card with flat back beads and die cut elements!
- Enjoy!
Tips:
- Tip 01: For added dimension, use foam squares to glue each jacket to the note card.
- Tip 02: Always hot foil and stamp before adding texture to the panel with piercing plates or embossing folders.
- Tip 03: Use a sand eraser to remove over-foiling, and a glue eraser to remove excess (dry) glue.
