Creating With Patterned Paper
Hi there! Today we will be creating simple and easy to make note cards! Rosie’s Studio has recently released the Bayfair collection which consists of beautiful patterned paper, stickers and die sets! Patterned paper and sentiment stickers can be a lifesaver when you don’t have enough time to get creative and do elaborate techniques!
To create these note cards, I used the Designer paper pack, and for the sentiment I used the Bayfair Cardstock Sticker and Puffy Stickers! With this collection we have the option to buy each item individually or as a kit and I will make sure to add all options in the supply list below so you can check it out! When it comes to the patterned paper we have the option to purchase it as a 6” x 6” paper pad or in a pack of 12”x12” pages.
Even though I prefer 6” x 6” paper pads, since it is easier to store and perfect for creating A2 size note cards, I am beginning to get into the 12” x 12” size because it gives us the option to create matching envelopes, which is what I did today! To create each envelope I used metal plates included in the Spellbinders “A2 gift Card Holder and Envelope” die set.
To create this fun shaped card base I used the largest plate included in the Spellbinders “Scallop Labels and Tag” die set. I cut it from a side-folding A7 size note card, making sure to offset the plate on the folded side so I would end up with two connected pieces! To cut out the golden panel, I used the second largest plate included in the set, and to cut out the patterned paper I used the third largest die plate!
As a final touch, I added flat back red sequins to the red note card, and flat back golden beads to the floral ones! At the end of this post there is a list of all supplies used to make these cards. Thank you for visiting today and happy crafting!
