Tips and Tricks For Using Up Your Cardstock Scraps!
Hello Crafters! Today I am sharing some cards made with cardstock scraps. The drawers that I have designated for cardstock leftovers were getting pretty full so I figured it was time to use them up!
I spent half an hour cutting cardstock strips! Then, I had a lot of fun creating patterned papers and cards. It took me a while to cut cardstock strips because I was using a die to cut them out. You can use a paper timer to cut cardstock strips, or even a pair of scissors, but I prefer using a die as it gives a more finished look!
I cut more cardstock strips than I actually needed because I wanted to have some ready to go the next time I make a card. To keep them organized I got these acrylic trays from The Container Store and I keep my cardstock strips sorted out by color. I love these trays because they are see through and you can stack them up!
You can click here to watch the video! It was so much fun creating these cards and I hope this video inspires you to use up your cardstock scraps. This hobby of ours can be very expensive, so we should make the most out of our supply! At the end of this post there is a list of all supplies used to make these cards. Thank you very much for visiting today and have a wonderful week!
