Summer Vibes Note Cards

Hello crafters! Today I have some card designs to share with you featuring some of the Spellbinders clubs kits for the month of June 2024. All of these note cards are side folding and fit A2 size envelopes.

I began by die cutting all the needed pieces to create the ice cream cones using colored cardstock scraps. To stitch these ice cream cones, I used DMC floss in the colors 5383 for the ice cream cones, 605 for the strawberry ice cream, 5200 for the vanilla ice cream and 838 for the chocolate flavored ice cream. 

To create each scallop shaped note card, I used the largest plate included in the Spellbinders “Scallop Labels And Tags” die set. I cut it out of a side-folding 5” x 7” note card, slightly offsetting the metal plate on the folded side, so I would end up with two connected pieces that I could use as a card base.  

Using the largest plate included in the Spellbinders “Scallop Labels And Tags” die set, I cut out colored panels to adhere to the front of each note card. However, before doing so, I dry embossed each panel using the Spellbinders June 2024 Embossing folder of the month. Before I dry-embossed each panel, I misted the paper with a golden shimmer just to add some sparkle! 

To create the sentiment banner, I used metal plates included in the Spellbinders June 2024 Stitchin die of the moth! As I final touch, I added small die cut flowers and leaves that I already had around. I also added a few clear dew drop beads for some added interest!
