Snowy Penguins

Hello crafters! Today’s note cards are featuring the Stampendous “FransFormer Snowy Penguins” stamp set! This is a fun stamp set with 22 pieces included! The stamps are very flexible and we can adjust them to stamp penguins with different body and hat shapes! How fun is that?!
I began by stamping these images on a piece of Neenah, 100lb cardstock using my mini Misti stamping tool. Because I knew I would be coloring these images with Copic markers, I stamped them with Memento Tuxedo ink pad. This is an alcohol marker friendly ink pad, and it will now smudge as I’m coloring.

To cut out this fun border on the right, I used the Spellbinders April 2021 large die of the month (unfortunately not available anymore). Then, I adhered each panel to a red card base. To stamp the sentiments I also used sentiment stamps included in the “FransFormer Snowy Penguins” stamp set!
As a final touch I added shimmery accents to the skating blades by going over these images with Sakura Gelly Roll Stardust pen. To make their hats shimmery, after coloring I went over it with my Nuvo Aqua shimmer pen! I also used flat black beads to make the penguins’ eyes pop, and I used a snow maker pen to make the white sections of their winter hats resemble snow!

I hope you enjoyed this post and felt inspired! Thank you for stopping by today and happy crafting!
