Slimline Birthday Cards

Hello crafty friends! In this post, I’m sharing a few birthday cards that I created using the spellbinders, “Just a Tweet” and “Layered Mix & Match Sentiments” die sets. These are all birthday cards because that’s what I needed; however, you can use these die sets to make cards for any occasion!

For these two slimline cards I also used the Honey Bee Stamps, “Slimline Sentiments: Eyelet” die set to cut out a border for the front panel. I actually stacked two borders so it stands out. I also stacked a few die cut sentiments for each slimline card. For the card with the golden sentiment, I used gold foil cardstock by Recollections, and for the card with a silver sentiment I used the Tim Holtz, Idea-Ology, Metallic cardstock.

To make some of these flowers petals glossy, I applied Ranger glossy accents! I love Ranger Glossy Accents and I think it’s a must have for any card maker!

This black A2 size card is one for my favorites! I used a patterned paper to cut out the bird. I added two white panels to the inside of this card, so I have a place to write a message. The front panel also has some flat back rhinestones and is gorgeous in person!

You can click here to watch a fun time lapse video of the process of making these cards! At the end of this post there is a list of all supplies used. Thank you very much for visiting my blog today and have a wonderful day!
