Simple Dry Embossed Note Cards

Creating With Spellbinders February 2024 Embossing Folder Of The Month!

Hello craters! Today we will be creating very simple, yet beautiful note cards with the Spellbinders February 2024 embossing folder of the month.

Today’s note cards are side folding, A2 size. I began by cutting a solid arch shape out of a 5 ½” x 4 ¼” white panel with a metal plate included in the Spellbinders “Essential Arches” die set. Then, I placed both pieces back together inside the Spellbinders “Swirling Blooms” embossing folder, and ran it through my die cut machine to dry emboss it. I repeated this process three times to create three note cards in different colors!

To add some color to the raised portion of each dry embossed arched piece, I used a large brayer and ink pads by Simon Says Stamp. To add some dimension to each die cut arch piece, I stack 3 more die cuts in the back before adhering each die cut to the front of an A2 size  note card.

To create the hot foiled sentiment strips, I used the Spellbinders “Mini Everyday Sentiments” hot foil plates set and a piece of foil in the color “Prism”. To create these adorable birdies, I use the Spellbinders “Sweet Birds On A Branch” die set and I went over it with my shimmer pen to add some sparkle!

At the end of this post there is a list of all supplies used to make these cards. Thank you so much for visiting my blog today, take care, and happy crafting!
