Postage Shaped Note Cards
Hello crafters! Thank you for stopping by today and I hope all is well! In this post I’m sharing some fun shaped note cards featuring the Spellbinders “Rainboot Bouquet” die set.
To create the postage shaped card base, I used a large metal plate included in the Spellbinders “Postage Edge Squares” die set. I cut it out of a 5 ½” x 7” note card, offsetting the metal plate a little bit on the creased side, so I would end up with two connected pieces. I used my Gemini Junior electric die cutting machine to be able to easily cut through two layers of cardstock at once.
To create this beautiful die cut flower arrangement, I used the Spellbinders “Rainboot Bouquet” die set. Since the metal plates included in this set are not too big, I was able to use cardstock scraps to cut out these pieces which was great! To add some sparkle I went over these flowers with a shimmer pen and I added yellow flat back beads in the center of each small flower.
For the die cut “Thanks” sentiment, I used a metal plate included in the Spellbinders “Yana’s Layered Script Sentiments” die set. For the foiled sentiment in Portuguese I simply printed it with my laser printer and foiled with my laminator and a piece of golden foil.
