Pop Up Tree Note Cards

Hello crafty friends! Today I have a few note cards to share with you featuring the Spellbinders March 2023 large die of the month. With this set we can create a beautiful floral pop up tree card base. It is also included in this set two metal plates to cut out the sentiment  “happy birthday”. However, by switching some things up, I want to show you that  we can also use this die set to create note cards for many other occasions!

For this first note card I chose the colors green and lilac. To cut out the sentiment “Happy Birthday” I use holographic cardstock. And to add some interest to the white background panel, I used the Concord and 9th “stitched Hearts” piercing plate. As a final touch I added flat back beads to the center of each flower! These pop up tree note cards can easily be flattened to go  inside  A2 size envelopes! So, if we need to mail this type of note card it will not be a problem!

Since this pop up tree is actually perfect for many occasions, we can simply switch the sentiment to create note cards for different occasions, other than birthdays! For this second note card, I chose to make a very colorful tree, so I cut the flowers out of yellow, blue, pink and purple cardstock. To add some interest to the white background panel I used the Honey Bee Stamps, “Spring Leaves” piercing plate. For the Sentiment “Thank you”, I used the Spellbinders “Flowering tree sentiment” die, meant to be used with the March 2023 large die of the month die set.

Moving on to the third note card, I chose yellow and orange cardstock to cut out the flowers. I love this color combination! For the sentiment, I use the Simon Says Stamp “Here For you” die plate. I cut it out of black cardstock, and I stacked about 4 die cut sentiments for dimension!

For this last note card, I made a few changes to turn this pop up tree into a Valentine’s day note card! First I chose the traditional red, pink and gold color combination. Then, I glued lots of tiny hearts all over this tree, and for the sentiment I chose “Be Mine”. I used a metal plate included in the Spellbinders “Dancin’ Hearts” die set to cut it out of golden cardstock.

I love combining different sets from different companies to create new note cards and make the most out of the sets that I already have. I hope you enjoyed today’s post and felt inspired! At the end of this post there is a list of all supplies used to make these cards! You can click here to watch a tutorial video on these note cards! Thank you for visiting and  happy crafting!
