Pop Up Houses!

Hello crafters! Today I am sharing some pop up houses that I was able to create thanks to a wonderful die set by Spellbinders, called “Pop Up 3 Vignette, Home Sweet Home”. These tiny houses are absolutely adorable and they can be folded flat to go inside A2 envelopes!

This set is perfect for somebody who just moved into a new home! I also think that we can get creative and make cards with this set for other occasions as well, such as Christmas, by simply changing the sentiment, the color scheme, and adding different die cut elements to these houses!

For the first house that I created I used 120 lb cardstock, and I found that to be too heavy and it ended up making my house too bulky to go inside the envelope. Instead I recommend using 80 LB cardstock, it is not as thick but strong enough to make these tiny houses look great on display, and fit better when folded flat to go inside the envelope! I also added die cut elements from other sets and can find a supply list of all products used at the end of this blog.
