Mini Bridge Note Cards

Mother’s Day!

Hi there! Today we will be creating mother’s day note cards! To create a mini bridge card base we need a piece of cardstock that is 5 ½” x 5 ¼” and  score this piece of cardstock at 1” and 1 ¾” from each end. Then, we must fold it in at the two inner score lines and out at the two outer score lines.  We can fold this mini bridge note card flat to place it inside an envelope, and when the recipient takes it out the note card pops up and it will stand nicely on display!

To stamp  and die cut these images, I used the Simon Says Stamp “Bouquet For Mom” set. I used Memento Tuxedo black ink to do the stamping since I was planning on coloring these images with alcohol markers. This is a great ink for coloring with alcohol markers because it will not smear as you do so! Also, I stamped these images on Neenah Classic Crest cardstock, which is a very smooth cardstock and perfect for coloring with markers! To create the grass I used a border die by Honey Bee Stamp.

As we adhere the die cuts to the bridge note card we have to make sure we only adhere the die cut pieces to these two outer flaps. Nothing should be adhered to the center of the bridge note card, otherwise it will not pop up!

Also, if you are planning on stamping on these bridge note cards, make sure to do that before adhering the die cut pieces! Simon Says Stamp also has wonderful stamp sentiment sets for Mothers’ Day, and I used them to customize my envelopes! It was so much fun and I really enjoyed how they came out!
