Hot Foiled Note Cards
Creating With Spellbinders February 2024 Glimmer Kit Of The Month
Hello crafters! Today I have two card designs to share with you featuring the Spellbinders February 2024 Glimmer Kit Of The Month! These note cards measure 5 ½” tall by 4 ¼” wide and can go inside A2 size envelopes!
To create the first note card, I used a piece of silver foil to hot foil this gorgeous floral image onto a piece of white cardstock. Then, I used Copic markers to color it. I used Copic G99 to color the background; Copic C3 for the flower petals; Copic Y0000 and Y00 to color the center of each flower; and Copic YG00 AND YG13 to color the leaves.
After coloring, I used an arched metal plate to cut out this image! I also stacked a few arched die cuts so my arched panel would have some dimension! To create the sentiment, I used the sentiment hot foil plate and coordinating die set included in the February kit!
As a final touch I created shimmery dots all over the dark panel with my Sakura Gelly Roll “Stardust” pen!
For this second note card, I simply did the reverse foiling technique with the leftover piece of foil used to hot foil the floral image for the first note card. I cut out my panel using that same arched die plate, and I colored a piece of white cardstock with Copic G99 before hot foiling the sentiment.
I also used Copic marker G99 to color a 5 ½” x 4 ¼” piece of white cardstock before adhering the arched panel in the center (I only colored the sections that are visible!). To add some sparkle, I went over the dark background with my Sakura Gelly Roll “Stardust” pen just like I did with there previous one! Using an old die set, I created white and silver die cut butterflies that I adhered above the die cut sentiment!
At the end of this post there is a list of all supplies used to make these cards! Thank you so much for visiting my blog today and happy crafting!
