Have a Happy Birthday

Hello crafters!
A few weeks ago, while looking for a die or stamp to make birthday cards, I found this Merry Stitching die set, by Spellbinders. This set was intended to be used to make Christmas cards. However, it has one plate that I think can be used to make any type of card!
So, I made lots of birthday cards because that is what I needed, but I also think you could make beautiful Easter or Mother’s day cards, using this long stitching die border die, shown in the picture below, on the left.

All of the cards were hand stitched using DMC flosses. I used heavy weight cardstock. These are A2 size cards. To add embellishments, I used a strong liquid adhesive that dries clear.
DMC flosses used for the blue and green card: 5283, 995, 990 980

DMC flosses used for the teal and purple card: E3849, 333, 552

DMC flosses used for the blue and bright green: 980, 995, 5283, 990

DMC flosses used for the dark purple card: E155, 210, 552, 209, 333

DMC flosses used for the light purple card: E155, 340, 209, 210

DMC flosses used for the pink and green card: 5282, 605, 959

I also made one “Thinking Of You” card using the same die. I love stitching on cards, but if that is not your cup of tea, know that you can create lovely cards with this die, without having the work of stitching.
