Fun Fold Note Cards

With Spellbinders Fresh Picked Collection

Hello crafters! Today I have two note cards to share with you featuring die sets from Spellbinders Fresh Picked collection!

To create a fun fold note card we will need to first create two A2 size, side folding note cards (5 ½” tall x 4 ¼” wide). Then, we will need to score the front of each note card at 2 ⅛”, creating this way a Z fold. Before adhering these two pieces together,  trim less than ⅛” from one panel so it better fits (this will be the panel where you will write your personal message later!)

Because I used a dark color of cardstock for my card base,  I added a 5 ¼” x 4” white panel inside so I can have a nice bright spot to write my personal message. Another great option is to use a white gel pen to write on dark cardstock! By the way, this beautiful color of cardstock that I used to create these fun fold card bases is also by Spellbinders in the color “Indigo”.

To create the note card with berries I used the Spellbinders  “Fresh Picked Berries” die set, and cardstock in the colors “Pink Sand” and “Fruit Punch”. For the green leaves I used the “Fern” colored cardstock. I stacked two die cuts for each element so it has a little bit of dimension!

To create the note card with daffodil flowers, I used the Spellbinders “Fresh Picked Daffodil” die set, along with Spellbinders cardstock in the colors “Fern”,  “Persimmon” and “Mirror Gold”. To cut out the sentiment  “Hello”, I used Spellbinders September 2021 Small Die of the Month.

To decorate the flap of each A6 size envelope I added thin cardstock strips to the flap and I stamped the sentiment  “You are my favorite person on earth” using a stamp from Spellbinders June 2021 Stamp of the Month! Unfortunately these two sets that I used to stamp and die cut the sentiments are not available anymore, but I hope you can also find something in your stash that you haven’t used in a while and put it to good use! I love when I fall in love again with my old sets!
