Fun and Interactive Note Cards
Hello crafter! Today we will be creating fun interactive note cards featuring the Spellbinders June 2024 Embossing Folder and Small Die Clubs! Both of these note cards are top folding and measure 5 ½” tall by 4 ¼” wide.
I began by ink blending two white panels with pink and orange ink pads. Then, to add some texture to each panel I dry embossing with the Spellbinders “Summertime Waves” embossing folder. Before placing each panel inside the embossing folder, I made sure to mist the back with water to avoid cracks and tears on the paper.
To adhere each panel to a note card, as well as to assemble the die cut pieces I used the Bearly Art glue, which is a strong glue that dries clear, and I trust will make make project last a very long time!
To create these adorable characters I used the Spellbinders “Summertime Wade Pool” die set! To adhere these characters to the front panel of each note card, I used round foam adhesive, making sure to strategically add them to the back of each die cut so it wouldn’t interfere with the interactive mechanism! Each character’s lower body moves from side to side, creating a fun surprise for the recipient!
Even though the Spellbinders “Summertime Wade Pool” comes with metal plates to also create sentiments, I decided to hot foil the sentiments for today’s note cards by using the Spellbinders June 20204 Glimmer Kit of the Month, “Summertime Sentiments”. With this set we get a large hot foil plate and the coordinating die plate that allows us to foil lots of sentiments at once and die cut it all at once as well, which is such a time saver. All of the sentiments go really well with the June 2024 Small die of the moth!
To finish it off I add a few clear dewdrop beads around each sentiment strip that I placed below each dancing character! I had a lot of fun creating these note cards and I hope you felt inspired to get creative! At the end of this post there is a list of all supplies used to make these cards. Thank you for visiting today and happy crafting!
