Creating With A Turnabout Stamp Set + Partial Die Cutting
Hello Crafters! Today I’m sharing a floral note card with a partial die cut sentiment at the top! I started by stamping the front and back of an A2 size, top folding white card base, using the Concord And 9th “Flower Patch” turnabout stamp. I also used Concord and 9th ink pads in the colors Buttercup, Parsley, peacock and Honeysuckle. To create a matching envelope, I stamped the flap using the same turnabout stamp and ink colors. Then I added a thin strip of silver glitter cardstock to the flap of the envelope for some sparkle!
For the sentiment I used the Honey Bee Stamps, “Hugs” die set. This set comes with one word and two shadow plates. I used the smallest shadow die to do a partial die cut at the top of this note card. Then I stacked a few white die cuts of the word “hugs” and topped it with a silver glitter die cut. Because I used a light weight cardstock for the base of these note cards, I decided to add two white panels inside, with a few stamped flowers, so it feels heavier and the recipient can keep it on display!
