Creating Simple and Elegant Note Cards

Hello crafters! Today I have two simple, yet very elegant card designs to share with you and I hope it inspires you to get creative!

Both of these note cards are top folding and measure 5 ½” tall by 4 ¼” wide, and can go inside A2 size envelopes! I began by die cutting some intricate borders using the Spellbinders “Timeless Hearts Borders” die plate.  I cut out 4 borders for each note card and I cut it out the same color of cardstock as the front panel in order to create a monochromatic look!

However, before adhering these die cut borders to the front panel I hot foiled a sentiment at the bottom, as well as inside each note card, using some press plates by Spellbinders!

To adhere the die cut borders to the front panel, I used the Bearly Art glue which is a strong liquid adhesive that dries clear, and comes in a fine tip bottle making it easier to apply liquid adhesive to intricate die cuts such as these borders!

I also adhered a die cut border to the flap of each white envelope to make them match the note cards! To embellish these note cards, I used some gorgeous butterfly stickers by Spellbinders. I also made sure to add a butterfly inside each note card, creating this way a beautiful surprise for the recipient! At the end of this post there is a list of all supplies used to make these cards. Thank you for visiting today and happy crafting!
