Creating A Fun Fold Note Card
Hello crafters! In this post I will be sharing two card designs created with sets from the Bibi’s Cats and Pugs Collection, by Bibi Cameron, which is simply outstanding! We will begin by creating a fun shaped note card, and then use the leftover die cuts to create a tradition A2 note card.
Happy Birthday Note Card
- Score a 8 ½” x 11” cardstock page at 2 ⅛” and 4 ¼”. Create and Z fold and cut it in half at 5 ½”. Glue both pisces together to create an A2 size fun fold note card.
- Die cut and assemble 4 pugs using metal plates included in the Spellbinders “Party Puggles” die set. Assemble extra 3 pugs if planning on creating the second note card!
- Stamp the sentiments using stamps included in the Spellbinders “Cats and Pugs Sentiments” stamp set
- Adhere the di cut pugs and star confetti for some sparkle!
Tips:
- Tip 01: To make the process easier and faster, use a wax pencil to pick up small die cuts and sequins.
- Tip 02: Use googly eyes instead of die cuts to make these pugs look extra adorable!
- Tip 03: Ink blend the bottom of the note card, before adhering the die cut pugs, to keep them from looking as if they were floating!
It’s Your Birthday! Note Card
- Ink blend a 4” x 5 ¼” piece of white cardstock, or use an embossing folder to add interest to the background panel. (I used an old panel created a long time ago with distress oxide ink pads!)
- Stamp the sentiment “It’s your birthday” on the top right corner of the panel
- Adhere the panel to a note card that is 5 ½” wide by 4 ¼” tall.
- Add die cut pugs and confetti
Tips:
- Tip 01: Always use strong liquid adhesive to make sure your project will last a very long time!
- Ink blend the die cut pugs around the edges with a darker shade of ink, and a blending brush to create some shading!
