Christmas In July!

Creating With Spellbinders July 2024 Clubs

Hello crafters! Today I have many holiday card examples to share with you, created with some of the Spellbinders July 2024 club kits. Spellbinders offers many different monthly club subscriptions and they never disappoint! This month’s theme is the holidays and I have been having a lot of fun creating with the July clubs! Make sure to watch this tutorial video for more information!

To create the note cards with a pair of skates, I used the small die set of the month called “Skating Into The Holidays”. I used cardstock scraps to cut out all of these pieces and strong liquid adhesive to glue them together. To add some texture to the background panel, I used the embossing folder of the month called “Henix Snowflake”. To create the sentiments in English, I used the Spellbinders “Christmas Die & Glimmer Sentiments Hot Foil Plate & Die Set”, and to create the sentiments in Portuguese I printed it with a laser jet printed, and laminated the printed sentiments with Deco foil and a laminator. For some added interest, I added a few silver flat back beads around the pair of skates.

To make this next set of note cards, I used the Spellbinder embossing folder of the month called “Henix Snowflake”. Before adhering the dry embossed panel to a card base, I cut off a section on a diagonal just for fun. I also hot foiled the sentiment  “Wishing you Joy” onto the card base before adhering the dry embossed panel above it. The plates used to hot foil the sentiment are part of the July 2024 glimmer club. To cut out the flowers used to decorate these two note cards, I used metal plates included in the “Skating Into The Holidays” die set.

Moving on, here we have two note cards created with the Spellbinders July 2024 glimmer of the month, called “Joyful Holy”. I used golden foil to hot foil these sprigs and sentiments. I hot foiled each sentiment directly onto the front panel of each note card, and I hot foiled the sprigs onto pieces of  white cardstock so I could add some color after hot foiling it. I used the coordinating stencil to add color to the berries and leaves, then I used the coordinating die pate to cut these sprigs out. After that I went around the edges of each die cut sprig with a marker that had a similar color as the backgrou panel. To make the red berries pop, I went over each one with a shimmer pen and then I applied Ranger Glossy accents on top to make it shiny and glossy! As a final touch I added flat back red rhinestones!

Last but not least, here we have some note cards created with the Spellbinders “Stitched All Wrapped Up” July 2024 stitching die of the month. To do the stitching on all of these gorgeous bows, I used metallic golden floss and tapestry a needle. I adhered each ribbon to the card base using liquid adhesive and I used foam adhesive to adhere the bow to the card front so it has some dimension. To add some texture to the background panels I dry embossed it using the “Henix Snowflake” embossing folder. For the sentiment, I used the metal plates and hot foil plates included in the  Spellbinders “Christmas Die & Glimmer Sentiments Hot Foil Plate & Die Set”.   At the end of this post there is a list of all supplies used to make these cards. Thank you for visiting today and happy crafting!
