Cards for Kids + Easy Technique To Color Curly Hair (Shine+Texture)!
Hello crafters! I hope all is well!
Today’s cards are featuring a stamp set by Ink Blot Shop. It is the “Little School” set, which is full of adorable images.
To color these cuties, I used Copic markers. I am new to coloring with Copic. However, I want to share with you a very easy technique that I came up with, to color curly hair. I am no expert on coloring, so don’t you worry! You won’t need any special skills!
With this technique you will get very shiny hair with lots of texture!
The first step is to color the hair with a grey marker. I used Copic C7 on the edges and C5 all over it.
Then, you will need a Sakura Glaze black pen. I used this pen to draw letter Cs all over the hair, in all directions. This glaze pen releases very thick ink that just sits on the top of the paper.
So, it is very important to let it dry before adding another coat. It will look like a big mess at first, but do not give up! The result will be amazing!
I hope you give it a try!
Because I knew I would have so much fun making these cards, I recorded time-lapses of the process of making these cards. I hope you enjoy the video!
Thank you for spending this time with me!
