Bringing You Love & Joy This Holiday
Mass Producing Christmas Note Cards!

Hello friends! Today we will be mass producing Christmas note cards featuring the Spellbinders “Bringing Christmas to you” cling stamp set! This set is part of the House-Mouse Holiday collection!
All of today’s note cards are A2 size (4 ¼” x 5 ½”) and great for mailing since they do not have a lot of dimension, and believe it or not, no embellishments (this might be a first for me!); however, they do have a lot of sparkle!

I began by stamping all of my images using Memento Tuxedo black ink on white cardstock. I also stamped it on pieces of full sticky note so I could fussy cut it to create a mask in order to quickly ink blend many panels at once! I created a mask for the large ornament and ink blended all panels at once using red ink. Then, I created a mask for the house and ink blended all stamped images with light pink ink for the face and gray ink for the body. Masking is a great technique for quickly adding color to many panels at once. If you miss a spot you can always fix it later with a matching color of marker!
The process would definitely have been faster if I had used masking sheets, but since I did not have any, I had to improvise by using post-its! To add some sparkle to the large ornament, after I ink blended it with red ink, I sprayed golden shimmer on top. For this step, I created a mask using cardstock since pos-its are very lightweight and would not have protected the rest of my panel from any liquid (another reason for using masking sheets 🙂 )

To add some green accents to the ornament I used a green gelly roll pen by Sakura, and I stamped the sentiment “Bringing you Love & Joy This Holiday” included in the stamp set!
To finish it off I added a golden frame that I die cut using a metal plate included in the Spellbinders December 2021 small die of the month “Sketched Florals & Frame”. I love this frame since it reminds me of the series “Friends” peephole in Monica’s apartment! Unfortunately this set in not available anymore, but remember that we can always add a frame around the image by simply trimming the panel to be 4” x 5 1/4” and adhering it to a 5 ½” x 4 ¼” piece of golden cardstock so you have a little bit of gold showing!

I started with 6 panels but ended up with 5 note cards since I messed one up! I love creating Christms note cards all year round so I have more time to play with my seasonal supplies, and more importantly, I will be ready when December comes!
At the end of this post there is a list of all supplies used to make these cards. I hope you felt inspired and thank you very much for stopping by today!
