Bright And Fun Note Cards!
Hello crafters! Today I have two card examples featuring two stamp sets from the Spellbinders House-Mouse Summer Fun collection: “Pop!” and “Stay Cool”. Both sets have a large adorable scene and great sentiments!
To create an arched card base, I used the largest plate included in the Spellbinders “Arch Labels and Tag” die set. I cut it from a 5” x 7” side folding note card, making sure to slightly offset the metal plate on the folded side so I would end up with two connected pieces!
To color these images, I used Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils. It was my first time using it and I know I still have a lot to learn! However, these images are absolutely adorable and I love how it turned out. To make up for my lack of coloring skills, I used really bright colors to create really happy and fun note cards!
To stamp the sentiments on the top of each note card, I used the Misti stamping tool. I made sure to curve the stamp as I placed it on the Misti acrylic door, so the stamped sentiments would better fit these arch shaped note cards!
With a white gel pen I created some highlights, and using a clear gel pen I added some gloss to the ice cubes! I also added a few die cut flowers to each note card just for fun! At the end of this post there is a list of all supplies used to make these cards. Thank you for visiting today and happy crafting!
