Floral Note Cards

Hello crafters! Today I have two note cards to share with you featuring the Spellbinders Glimmer of the Month and Embossing Folder Of the Month for January 2024.

I began by dry embossing my white A2 size card base using the “Branching Out” embossing folder. I placed the note card folded inside the embossing folder so I could get impressions on both sides of the note card. Then I adhered white panels inside the note card to create a smooth place to write a personal message later. 

To hot foil this floral image I used the Spellbinders “Card Front Floral” set along with a piece of Copper foil. To add color to the hot foil image I used Copic markers  In the colors YG00 and YG03 for the leaves;  RV000 and RV02 for the pink flower and BV 00 and V22 for the lilac flower.

Once I finished coloring, I trimmed each panel to 3 ¼” x 5 ½”  before adhering it to the font of my note card. To create the sentiment I used a plate included in the “Card Front Floral” set. As a final touch I added a thin cardstock strip to the edge of the hot foiled panel and a few flat back rhinestones here and there!
