Fun Shaped Note cards! 

Hello craters! Today I have some fun shaped note cards to share with you, featuring the Spellbinders large die of the month for February 2023! I started by adhering the frame die cut pieces to a 5 ½” x 4” piece of colored cardstock. Then, I adhered this panel to a piece of white cardstock that measures 5 ¾” x 4 ½” so this panel has a white trim and a white space in the back where I can stamp my custom “handmade by” stamp.

To create the oval note card that I glued to the center of each panel, I cut 4 oval shapes, and I created a hinge with clear acetate. I used double sided tape to adhere the acetate hinge to two oval die cut pieces. And, to hide the acetate hinge inside the note card I glue another two white die cut oval shapes inside. The acetate hinge is about ¼” wide and I rounded the edges to make it less noticeable. 

For the sentiment I used the plates included in the set to hot-foil it with golden foil and, as a final touch I added flat back beads to the center of each small flower and went over them with a shimmer pen to add some sparkle!
